I went to see Wicked the musical and it was amazing. This is the second time I’ve seen it and it was just as amazing as the first time. Last time I went was 4 years ago and we booked the tickets to go again almost 2 years ago. That’s how fast the tickets go when they tour. We went to see them in Cardiff. This was my very belated birthday present.
We decided to go to Cardiff Bay a little earlier, so we could get some food before and make a proper day of it. So, we decided to go to Bill’s, we wanted to try somewhere we haven’t been before and I’m so glad we did, it was stunning. I had a halloumi burger and avocado with chips and my boyfriend had cod goujons and chips. We couldn’t resist a desert, so we had warm cinnamon doughnuts and they were delightful.
After food we headed straight to the millennium centre to watch Wicked! It was raining and very windy, so we sat and relaxed inside for a while before the show.
We were sat on the top tear, in the middle and on the second row. The view was amazing, boyfriend did well. We did grab a drink beforehand, it would be too busy in the intermission. The only downside would have to be the seats, they were so uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to just stand up in the intermission. That has nothing to do with the show, but I did have a bad back for a few days after.
I would highly recommend seeing Wicked, it is such an incredible show and the actors/actresses are so good. I would happily pay and go see it again and I probably will when they tour again in a few years.
