Being vegetarian It can be hard to find places to eat when I go away on holiday. I did a lot of research before I went to ensure we had a lot of choices of places to eat that could accommodate me. All the places I recommend are good for meat eaters too.
We ate here on our first night. Goika Grill is a burger place, all the burgers on the menu you could have as a veggie burger. I would recommend booking online as it does get busy. If you have a normal burger you can have to cooked like a steak, rare, medium or well done.
As it says in the name this is a hot dog restaurant and they do tofu hot dogs. You pick the one you want from the menu and then pick the type of hot dog you want. We had fully loaded onion rings and the hot dogs were 3 for the price of 2. This was such good value for money and very filling.
Perfect for breakfast, you can literally get all different types of cereal and different colour milk. I really enjoyed this place.
This had to be the best ice cream I have ever had. I had chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone in the shape of a fish, with white chocolate and little chocolate bears. My boyfriend had salted caramel, with chocolate sauce, nuts and cookies.
La Huerta de Almeria
This was a vegan and vegetarian restaurant and it was delicious. We came across this place by accident and I’m so glad we did, this was my favourite meal in Madrid. You could see everything being freshly made. I would defiantly pop here if you visit Madrid.
