I used to be really stuck in my ways with beauty products, once I liked something I wouldn’t really change it. Some products I didn’t really like but didn’t know what to get next. So, I decided to mix up what I use a bit. So, over the last few months I have been trying a few different products and found some that I love, so here are 5 of my favourite products at the moment.
1. Mario Badescu Skin Care – Facial Spray
Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater, literally been using it as it says on the bottle. Spray on before moisturizer to keep skin moisturized thought out the day and sometimes I spray it on after my makeup is done for a Dewey look. Personally, it’s been great for my skin, I have combination skin. You can buy this online, I bought it from Urban Outfitters for £11.00.
2.Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation
I didn’t like how my foundation was sitting on my skin so I thought I would try a few samples from different brands before buying a new one. I absolutely love Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear. It feels so nice on my skin and doesn’t come off around my nose and mouth throughout the day like I’ve noticed other foundations do. Plus, it gives my skin this lovely glow. I really do love this foundation at the moment, it feels like it really suits my skin. I use the shade 010, I am very pale. I bought mine from John Lewis for £31.50. They will give a sample for you to try as well and see how you get on which I think is great considering it’s not a cheap foundation.
3.BadGal Bang Mascara
I’ve been using Benefit BadGal Bang Volumizing mascara for a while and it’s so good. I really feel like it lifts my lashes and makes them look longer. I like the type of brush to comes with to. I got it from boots for £21.50. Also, it’s easy to get off your skin once its dried, if your anything like me I always get it on my skin.
4.MAC eyebrow pencil
Eyebrows, I used to use eyeshadow to fill in and shape my eyebrows, the colour was nice but I noticed throughout the day they would come off or smudge. So, I changed to a MAC eyebrow pencil in the shade Spiked (Rich Brunette) which is £15.50. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I really like it, I only need to use a light hand and it comes out really pigmented.
5.Barry M Colour Correction.
Last but defiantly not least, I’ve been using Barry M Colour Correcting Wand, for dark circles. It’s a bright red/ Orange colour and really does cover dark circles. You really don’t need to use a lot at all, a small amount goes far. I put this on after moisturiser and then concealer over the top and then my foundation. Personally, I love this product, it really helps with my dark circles. I bought it from Superdrug for £4.49.
